People who are ill or who must stay in bed or in a wheelchair are at risk for pressure ulcers, sometimes called bed sores. Pressure ulcers are a serious problem, but in most cases, they can be prevented by following the steps listed here. Our caregivers will make sure that the person is eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of fluids. This will keep the client’s skin clean and dry. They will also check the skin regularly for red areas as part of a bath time routine. Getting their hair done in enjoyable for many people who are ill or disabled. Our caregivers will make a special effort to meet the patient’s needs for hair care.

They will by monitoring remotely our patients in the comfort of their own home. This means, that we can catch an early warning sign, such as a sudden rise in blood pressure, and treat it before it becomes a bigger problem. It also gives the patient’s physician information that is important for their ongoing care. The caregiver, through our special wireless devices, will deliver the patient’s vital signs and health condition. Our team will then proceed with a proper plan that will allow the patient to feel better and healthier, giving you a piece of mind that the patient is being well cared.
